Short story course at Arvon – places available

April 14, 2014 Adam Marek 3 Comments

There are a couple of places available on a short story course I’m teaching with Jane Feaver in May. It’s a 5-day residential course at Arvon Totleigh Barton in Devon. Our mid-week guest reader is Lucy Wood. All abilities welcome. Full details here.

If you’ve not been on an Arvon week before, check out my blog post about my first experience of teaching there a couple of years ago. A week at Arvon is just the most wonderful experience.

Hi Marek, this sounds really inviting however I live on a remote island in the North Sea so it’s a long swim!! 🙂 If you ever do any online courses I would be happy to indulge. I hope you have a good attendance. Best Wishes.

    Hi Marek,

I was pleased to read about the short stories you talk about on BBC radio four. On which day(s) are they broadcast please? I note in the link these took place earlier in March, and wonder if you have any more planned?

    My Regards.

Hi Barbara, I’m afraid they were only available on the iPlayer for a week after airing. I’ve been commissioned to do another short for R4 though, which will be on later in the year. Will post news on here nearer the time.
